We name every hotel and the exact room category before you pay. Three nights in Karimabad means you unpack once, and we build in a free afternoon so the trip has a gap in it rather than being a checklist.

The price shown is all-inclusive for two people — vehicle, driver, fuel, hotels, all meals, entry tickets and a local guide in Karimabad. There is no separate jeep charge waiting for you at Naltar or Attabad.

Every day states its route, its driving hours and its altitude, so nothing about this trip is a surprise on the road.

1. 1

   Day 1 — Islamabad to Chilas or Naran

   Islamabad → Besham → Chilas (or via Naran in season)

   A 7:00 AM departure — later than a group tour, because you can. If Babusar is open we take the Naran route, which is shorter and far more beautiful.

2. 2

   Day 2 — To Karimabad

   Chilas → Gilgit → Ghulmat → Karimabad

   Day 3 — Khunjerab Pass

   Karimabad → Passu → Sost → Khunjerab → Karimabad

   North to the Chinese border, with stops wherever you want them rather than where a group schedule allows.

   Day 4 — Upper Hunza and a free afternoon

   Karimabad → Attabad → Hussaini → Passu → Karimabad

   Attabad, Hussaini and Passu in the morning. The afternoon is deliberately empty — for the Karimabad bazaar, the hotel terrace, or nothing at all. Sunset at Duikar if you want it.

   Day 5 — Forts, then down to Chilas

   Karimabad → Altit → Baltit → Gilgit → Chilas
