5 Days Hunza Valley Tour from Islamabad
Two full days in the valley, with Attabad, Passu and the Karimabad forts.
Hunza, Skardu, Naran, Swat and Kashmir — 2 to 10 day trips from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. Named hotels, published driving hours, and a price that does not change at the trailhead.
Musafir Tours started in 2018 with one Coaster and a route to Hunza. We are a group of people from Gilgit-Baltistan and the Kaghan valley who got tired of watching visitors arrive on badly planned trips.
Our drivers have run the Karakoram Highway for years, not seasons. Our guides in Karimabad and Skardu are from those towns. And the things that go wrong on a northern trip — a pass closing, a hotel switching your room, eighteen hours of driving nobody warned you about — are the things we built this company to stop happening.
That is why every itinerary on this site states the driving hours, the maximum altitude and the hotel by name. If a trip has a hard day in it, you will read about it here rather than discover it on the road.

Eleven valleys, each with its own season, its own road and its own right length of trip.
Real departure dates, real seats remaining, and the hotel named on every night.

Two full days in the valley, with Attabad, Passu and the Karimabad forts.

The complete Hunza trip — the valley, the border pass and Naltar's coloured lakes.

Private vehicle, valley-view rooms and nobody else on the itinerary.

Shangrila, Shigar, Khaplu and a full day crossing Deosai to Sheosar Lake.

The classic short trip — Balakot, Shogran and the jeep up to Saif-ul-Malook.

The jeep track, the walk up, and a full day facing the ninth-highest mountain on earth.
Deosai at 4,114 m. The Fairy Meadows jeep track. Naltar's three lakes. Jahaz Banda and Katora. We run these in small groups with 4x4s and local drivers, and we tell you exactly what each day asks of you before you book.
The most useful question you can ask. Three days reaches Naran or Swat; five reaches Hunza; seven reaches Skardu with Deosai. Anything shorter than that is mostly road.
The same valleys, run four different ways. Group departures, private vehicles, family pacing, or a honeymoon with nobody else on the itinerary.

No 40-seat buses. Nobody waits an hour at every stop, and everybody gets a window.
Jeep charges, park fees and fort tickets are included where we say they are. Nothing appears at the trailhead.
Every day states its route and its hours. The complaint we hear about other operators is always that nobody warned them.
Khunjerab is 4,693 m and Deosai is 4,114 m. We carry oxygen and our leaders are first-aid trained.
Published, dated and honoured. Read it before you book — it is linked from every package page.

“The thing that sold me was that the driving hours were on the website. Everything they said would take twelve hours took twelve hours. Our hotel in Karimabad was the one on the page.”
“Deosai day was brutal and brilliant, exactly as described. The guide had oxygen out before anyone asked. Worth every rupee.”
“We had a valley-view room in Karimabad and Rakaposhi from the balcony at sunrise. Nothing was shared with a group. The free afternoon on day four was the best idea on the whole trip.”
Naran or Swat if you have three or four days and want an easy introduction — both are five to eight hours from Islamabad. Hunza if you have six days and want the trip everyone talks about. We will tell you honestly if your dates suit one better than the other.
May to September for the high valleys and passes. Early April for Hunza cherry blossom, late October for autumn colour, and December to February for snow in Swat, Murree and lower Hunza. July and August are peak season and the most crowded.
Our trips start at PKR 14,500 per person for a two-day Galiyat weekend and run to just under a lakh for the ten-day Gilgit-Baltistan circuit. Every package page shows a real per-person price with exactly what it includes.
Yes, and it is the question we are asked most. Solo female travellers are matched with same-gender room-mates at no extra cost, several departures each month carry a female coordinator, and we have a page that answers this properly rather than in one line.
Yes. Tell us your dates, group size and budget and we will send a written itinerary with named hotels and a price, usually the same day. Private tours are often similar in cost to group tours once you are four or more people.
Message us on WhatsApp or send the form on any package page. We confirm availability, send you a written itinerary, and take an advance per person to hold your seats. The balance is due three days before departure.
Send us your dates, your group size and your budget. We send back a suggested itinerary and a price, usually within the hour, and there is no charge for it.
